Travelling Babyboomers and their pictures

Intro for all our new friends!
Hello and welcome! Bonjour et Bienvenue!
Holly and I would like say Thanks, Merci for being here; it is nice to have a place where you can come and share some of your travel experiences (good or not so good), share some tips for fellow travellers, and specially posting those pictures that you are so proud of.
Holly has been an RN (registered nurse) all of her life, well, you know what I mean, lol, and now took the summer off to reflect on what we should be doing.
She had worked her way up to being on the management team of a 162 bed facilty for long term care, but the stress of that environment was starting to affect her; so, we decided to take a different path.
All of our six children are on their own and doing great (along with the eight grandchildren) and Scott, being ordained on Aug. 24th was pretty much the last BIG scheduled event for this year, we decided to look at Travel, WoW ... there is a new concept for someone who had dedicated their lives to their children, and to their careers.

a travel portal, where you can become a member for $98.00 per year, and you get to travel at wholesale prices, not bad, I thought, but looking further into it, we found out that if you chose to promote their website (which becomes your website with your name on it) you get commissions of $ 50.00 for each person that signs up; Holly just got her first cheque today, you'd think she had won a million, NO, NO, the cheque was not for a million, but it is a big step for Holly and I am very proud of her.
So, if any of you are interested in finding out more, Holly or I would be glad to answer all of your questions and point you in the right direction.
Maybe I should rename this site as Baby Bloomers Travelling, lol. as it feels like we are blooming into this new world of Travel for us.
As you will find out, as time goes by, I am a kitchen designer, primarily and love to take pictures.
Talking about pictures, they have to be yours or indicate the source, I will have to oversee these as I would not want ot get up one morning and find loads of nature pictures from uncle Fred's last nude beach walk ( I do not have an uncle Fred, lol).
